AIIDE-09 Hotel Accommodations
AIIDE-09 has reserved a small block of rooms at each of the hotels listed below. Conference attendees must contact the hotels directly. Please identify yourself as a "Fifth Artificial Intelligence for Interactive Digital Entertainment Conference (AIIDE-09)" attendee to qualify for the reduced rates (see below for specific hotel instructions). Space is very limited in Palo Alto in October, so attendees are encouraged to reserve early.
Cardinal Hotel
Built in 1924, the Cardinal Hotel is Palo Alto's premiere historic lodging with a charming ambiance and the grace and serenity of days past. The gracious lobby still provides a delightful glimpse of Old Palo Alto. Located within walking distance of downtown Palo Alto and the Stanford Shopping Center, the Sheraton offers resort-style lodging directly across from Stanford University. The hotel features complimentary high-speed Internet access in the lobby and business center. Internet access is available in guest rooms for $9.95 per day. The Marguerite shuttle stops next to the hotel, as does Caltrain, which serves San Francisco and other Bay area destinations. Parking is $15.00 per day (valet) and $10.00 per day (self)

The Research Track
Research Track papers describe AI research results that make advances towards solving known game AI problems or enabling a new form of interactive digital entertainment.
