Towards Answer Set Prolog Based Architectures for Intelligent Agents

The goal of our proposed work is to make new contributions towards ongoing work on development of Answer Set Prolog (ASP) based agent architectures. The architecture we consider is based on the agent's Observe-Think-Act-loop in which various tasks of the agent are reduced to computing answer sets of ASP programs. We accomplish this by describing agent's knowledge using theories written in specific action languages and then translating these theories in to ASP programs.
