The AIIDE 2012 Doctoral Consortium (DC) provided an opportunity for a group of Ph.D. students to discuss and explore their research interests and career objectives with a panel of established researchers in the AIIDE related fields. The consortium was intended primarily for Ph.D. students who have settled on their thesis direction and intend to pursue a career in research or development of AI for Digital Media. Selected students were paired with a mentor, a senior member of the AIIDE community, who advised them on their research trajectory, writing, and presentation. Selected students presented their research as an oral presentation or poster presentation. This technical report includes the accepted research summaries of the consortium.
