In specific, "__", the second entry on webpage http://www.aaai.org/AITopics/retired/html/___.html Though this entry is factually accurate, it (and the press release it cites) ignore the prior work in the area, which used the exact same terminology, by two other research groups. You can determine that by entering the words "___" or "___" into google scholar (among other places). If the author of the press release wants to replicate other peoples' research and not cite them, that's their business, but should AI Topics be giving a helping hand? Remove the blurb. Sometime last week i cut a very interesting person that was a computer programer for _____. I acked him will there really be a trully AI like we see in hollywood. He gave me a very intresting speech about AI, explaining to me what would happen. He said that in 50 to 100 years from now there will be a real AI having all the charateristics as a human( the ability to servive and the will to create ect.) exept human emotiom. He said human imotion is based on chmical inbalances in our central nervous system( brian)he mantioned this is our improfection. But the one thing that frightend me the most was his view on "true" AI. He mentioned that ones u give a machine a way to learn and be aware of itself and its creater it will eventually destroy its creator. A kind of next step in evolution for our species. he also said that in nature(meaning all for of the matter and energy in the universe) the stronger force always wins and is in constant diseqilibrium with the weaker force. Wow, I had not been to the AI Topics site for a while and just went there to look for some examples of datamining to include in a talk I'm giving. Nice job -- this is becoming a very good site. I see that some of the news articles that are included in the "AI in the News" list are captured in the AI Topics material too. That's very useful for assembling up-to-date lectures on AI topics, because I can just go to the topic (e.g., data mining) under AI Topics, and get a list of related recent news articles.
