Technical Program Registration
The AAAI-17/IAAI-17 technical program registration includes admission to all technical paper, and poster sessions, the Tutorial Forum, invited talks, exhibits, demos, competitions, the opening reception, and an electronic copy of the AAAI-17/IAAI-17 Conference Proceedings.

Symposium on Educational Advances in Artificial Intelligence (EAAI-17)
The AAAI-17/IAAI-17 technical program registration includes participation in EAAI-17 for invited participants and other interested individuals. For planning purposes, please notify us of your intention to attend on the online registration form. For individuals planning to attend EAAI-17 only, the fees are as follows:

Tutorial Forum Registration

The AAAI-17 Tutorial Forum is open to all technical registrants. Please select up to six consecutive tutorials on Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5. (Except where noted (SP5, SP6, SUP5, and SUP6) all tutorials are 4 hours, including breaks.) Tutorial syllabi will be available for download at the individual speaker's websites in January.
Workshop Registration

The workshop fee includes admission to one workshop and an electronic copy of the technical report, if one is available. Workshop participation is sometimes limited to those active participants determined by the organizer prior to the conference. However, most workshops also allow general registration by other interested individuals. For more information, please contact the individual organizers.

Opening Reception and Poster/Demo Session
The AAAI-17 Opening Reception will be held on Sunday evening, February 5, in the Yosemite Room of the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, and the Poster/Demo Sessions will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, February 6–8, in the Imperial Ballroom of the hotel. Admittance to the opening reception and the conference-wide poster/demo sessions is included in the AAAI-17 technical registration fee. Guests and children are welcome for the following fees:

Student Newcomer Reception
AAAI will hold a Student Newcomer Reception on Saturday evening, February 4, at 7:00 PM. This event is designed to welcome first-time students to the conference and give them an opportunity to meet other participants before the launch of the main conference. If you are interested in joining us, please apply by checking the box on the registration form. All students are welcome!
EAAI-17 Educational Outreach Event
The EAAI-17 Outreach Event will be held Saturday, February 4, giving EAAI presenters a chance to teach other AAAI attendees a single outreach activity, which they in turn will perform with local K-12 students. If you plan to attend, please check the appropriate box on the registration form. Attendance is complimentary
Breakfast with Champions: A Women's Mentoring Event
AAAI is holding its third annual women's mentoring event for student mentees, junior professional mentees, and senior mentors in CS/AI. Breakfast with Champions will be Tuesday morning, February 7. If you are interested in joining us, please apply by selecting the appropriate registration category on the registration form. Attendance is limited.
- Student mentee: $15.00
- Junior professional mentee (last enrolled as a student no more than 5 years ago): $15.00
- Mentor (by invitation only) : Complimentary (please write to aaai17@aaai.org for code)
AAAI-17 Hard Copy Proceedings
Preregistrants may reserve a hard copy of the AAAI-17 proceedings, which will be mailed after the conference. The conference attendee discounted price will be determined in after the conference. Individuals who select this option will be contacted regarding the final cost, as well as the shipping and handling fees at that time.
Payment Information
Payment of registration fees is required at the time of registration. Checks and bank transfers must be in US dollars. American Express, MasterCard, and VISA are also accepted. Registration applications must be submitted online by the registration deadlines to qualify for reduced rates. If you qualify for student rates, please submit your proof of student status to AAAI by email attachment to aaai17@aaai.org or by fax to +1-650-321-4457.
Refund Requests
The deadline for refund requests is January 20, 2017. All refund requests must be made in writing to aaai17@aaai.org. A $100.00 processing fee will be assessed for all refunds.

Onsite Registration and Badge Pick-Up
Onsite registration and badge pick-up will be located in the foyer of the Continental Ballroom on the Ballroom Level of the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, 333 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. Registration hours will be Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, February 4–6, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday, February 7-8, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; and Thursday, February 9, 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM. All attendees must pick up their registration packets/badges for admittance to programs.
